Jingze Wang

I am a PhD Candidate in the Organizations and Innovation group at the UCL School of Management, and I expect to defend my dissertation in 2026. I study behavioral strategies individuals use to navigate the challenges inherent in interacting with people and technologies at work. One stream of my work examines the psychological consequences of strategies individuals use to manage social relationships at work, such as brokering behaviors and shaping of external perceptions (e.g. hiding or faking friendships). A second stream investigates how employees’ perceptions of their jobs are shaped by their responses (e.g., task crafting) to the implementation of generative AI.
